Oil to Gas, Change It !

  • Save Time
  • Cleaner & Cheaper
  • Spare Space

With new emerging technology, Natural gas is cheaper and more abundant than ever. Switching from oil to gas has never been easier as companies are making better and more efficient boilers to be convertible as well as hybrid.

Additional benefits of switching are:

  • No oil tanker trucks blocking the street in front of your building.
  • Generally, less maintenance regarding oil tank debris and oil line filters.
  • Natural Gas burns cleaner than oil and coal.
  • The removal of the oil tank may create more space within the equipment room/cellar.

These are just some of the reasons why switching to gas is better. To learn more, give us a call at (718) 888-1855.

Annual Inspections

As required by law, once a year all boilers, both of low and high pressure, in all commercial buildings, as well as mixed use buildings, and dwellings with six or more families, must get inspected by building owners for operational safety and to ensure compliance with the NYC Building Code and other regulations.

Owners must annually certify to the Dept. of Buildings that their boilers have been inspected by a qualified professional entity. Not only will you abide by the law by having an annual inspection, it may also prolong the life of your boiler as well, preventing unnecessary headaches with no hot water calls.

New York City law requires that all backflow systems on certain properties receive testing from a certified tester once a year. If it is time for your property to receive testing on its backflow prevention device, please call us to make an appointment at (718) 888 -1855.

Source of Lead

  • Lead has been detected by the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYCDEP) at some homes with lead service lines, or internal fixtures and plumbing that contain lead, or that have internal plumbing joined by lead solder.
  • In New York City, homes built before 1961 may have lead service lines and plumbing installed before 1987 may contain lead solder.
  • Lead primarily enters drinking water because of corrosion of lead-containing plumbing, including pipes that connect household plumbing to the city’s water mains, solder on copper pipes, and faucets.
  • When water stands for several hours or more in lead service lines or plumbing systems containing lead, some lead may dissolve into the water.
